We are honored to share that our work in combating drought within the Latur district and our consistent efforts in the environmental field were recognized with the All India Social Workers Award 2019. This prestigious award was conferred by the Government of Telangana and Team NGO India, and we were delighted to see this significant achievement featured in Hello Latur!
Beyond our environmental work, we are also deeply committed to fostering a love for reading within our community. In response to the declining habit of reading due to increased gadget usage, Karvaan has established a unique Free Open Book Library beneath the shade of a huge banyan tree. This easily accessible and completely free library has been warmly embraced by the community and is already making a positive impact. This initiative, alongside our drought relief efforts, reflects our holistic approach to community development. The recognition in Hello Latur for our social work further strengthens our resolve to continue creating impactful initiatives that address diverse needs within the Latur region.
